Overview
The DMI-A3232 lets a DiGiCo S-Series console talk to the A168 STAGE stage box using the A3232 protocol over standard Cat cable. Each A168 STAGE adds 16 mic preamps and 8 outputs, and you get full remote control of gain, phantom power and the 20 dB pad from the console.
Highlights
- 2 x EtherCON ports, up to 32 I/O per port
- Cascade mode: 2 x A168 STAGE per port for up to 64 inputs and 32 outputs
- Redundant mode: run one A168 STAGE from both ports
- Remote gain (+5 dB to +60 dB), 48 V and 20 dB pad on every input
- 48 kHz or 96 kHz
Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo S21 and S31 only (DiGiCo lists the card as S-Series compatible). Fits either of the two DMI slots. Up to 4 x A168 STAGE boxes can be added to an S-Series console.

Forefront Tip
Two A168 STAGE boxes cascaded on each port is the cheapest way to put 64 preamps on stage for an S21 or S31. Use good shielded Cat5e or Cat6 with EtherCON ends for touring runs.
