Overview
The grandMA3 processing unit XL adds 16,384 parameters to a grandMA3 system and calculates them frame synchronously on the MA-Net3 network. In Mode2 it expands an existing grandMA2 system by 4,096 parameters.
It is MA's largest parameter expansion unit, aimed at grandMA3 systems of up to 250,000 parameters, in a 2RU rack case with eight DMX outputs and an integrated touchscreen. It suits arenas, festivals, broadcast and large touring productions.

Forefront Tip
On bigger systems, rack the processing units together at a central point with the network switch and send DMX to the stage with grandMA3 nodes. That keeps parameter expansion in one place and the long runs on network cable.
