Quest Engineering Qi10 10 inch Two-Way Installation Loudspeaker

Overview

The Qi10 sits between the Qi8 and Qi12 in Quest's Qi Series and is a strong choice for church auditoriums, school halls, function rooms, larger bars and live venues that want front of house performance from a discreet installed box. A 1 inch compression driver on a rotatable 90 x 70 degree horn is matched to a 10 inch woofer, giving response down to 55 Hz and 125.4 dB maximum SPL from 300 W RMS at 8 ohm.

The horn rotates to keep coverage consistent whether the cabinet is hung horizontally from a ceiling or stood vertically on a wall beside a stage, and the marine plywood cabinet with polyurea coating and smooth steel mesh grille looks tidy in architectural spaces. Connection is a 4-pin Euroblock with in and thru, which keeps the wiring neat on bracket mounted installs.

Quest tunes the Qi10 to work with its QXD amplifiers, which carry DSP presets for the whole Qi range, so system setup is largely a matter of loading the preset and setting levels. Mounting hardware is the HBRQi10 horizontal bracket and VBRQi10 vertical bracket in matching black or white. Add a Qi12S or Qi18S subwoofer for live bands or DJs. Available in black (RAL 9004) or white (RAL 9003); the white version is priced differently, so check the variant selector.
