Overview
The Qi15 is the largest full-range speaker in Quest's Qi Series, built for big rooms: large church auditoriums, live music venues, school and community halls, conference centres and nightclubs where a 12 inch box will not carry to the back. A 15 inch long-excursion woofer is paired with a 1.4 inch compression driver on a rotatable 80 x 50 degree horn, delivering 132.5 dB maximum SPL and response down to 48 Hz from 500 W RMS at 8 ohm.
Sensitivity is a high 99.4 dB, so you get a lot of level per watt and the amplifier does not have to work as hard. The bi-amp/passive switch lets you run it full-range or split across two channels of a Quest QXD amplifier with its DSP presets handling crossover and protection. The marine plywood cabinet with polyurea finish and steel mesh grille keeps the same understated look as the smaller Qi models, just scaled up to 680 x 425 x 415 mm and 34.5 kg.
Mount it with the HBRQi15 horizontal bracket or VBRQi15 vertical bracket, both available in matching black or white, and pair it with the Qi18S subwoofer for full-range live production. Connection is a 4-pin Euroblock with in and thru. Available in black (RAL 9004) or white (RAL 9003); the white version is priced differently, so check the variant selector.
