Overview
The EW-DX MKE 2 / 835-S Set is a two channel digital wireless kit with one handheld and one lapel, run from a single half rack receiver. It covers the most common church, school and corporate job in one box: a presenter on a lapel and a handheld for questions, readings or a worship leader.
In the box is the EW-DX EM 2 two channel receiver, an EW-DX SKM-S handheld with mute switch and MMD 835 cardioid dynamic capsule, an EW-DX SK bodypack with MKE 2 omnidirectional lavalier, two BA 70 rechargeable batteries, the power supply, two rod antennas, a GA 3 rackmount kit and an MZQ 1 mic clamp. The receiver can also be powered over PoE, which tidies up installs where the receiver sits on the network. FFP supplies Australian legal bands and can advise which one suits your venue.

Forefront Tip
Pick up a CHG 70N charger with this set so the two BA 70 packs go back on charge straight after each service or event, and keep a spare pair of AA cells in the drawer as a backup. Clip the MKE 2 on the sternum about a hand width below the chin, and set the mute switch on the handheld to AF mute so it never drops the RF link mid program.
