Overview
The Chauvet Professional Rogue R1X Wash is a bright, compact LED wash moving head. Seven 25 W RGBW LEDs feed a bubble style lens for good colour blending, and the zoom runs from 7.9 to 62.7 degrees, so it can punch a narrow wash onto a performer or flood the stage with colour.
Sixteen bit dimming with six dimming modes gives smooth fades, a calibrated 7500K white is on hand for neutral light, and selectable PWM keeps it flicker free on camera. LED output can be matched to older Rogue R1 Washes. With 3 and 5 pin DMX, RDM and powerCON linking, it suits churches, venues, schools, touring rigs, installs and hire stock.

Forefront Tip
You can power link up to 10 R1X Washes at 230 V, but in practice keep runs shorter so a single fault does not take out a whole bar, and spread fixtures across circuits. For lighting faces, zoom out to about the middle of the range and use the calibrated white as a starting point before adding colour.
