Overview
The D-Rack AES input option swaps 8 of the rack's 32 analogue mic/line inputs for 8 channels of AES input. It suits stages with digital wireless receivers, playback or outboard that output AES, so you can take those sources in digitally at the rack.
The rack's other 24 mic/line inputs, outputs and expansion slot are unchanged.

Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo D-Rack (DRACK1, DRACK2). This is an input option, not an output expansion card, so the output slot is still available for MODDRACKDAC or MODDRACKAES.
The D-Rack connects over CAT5e MADI to SD9 and SD11, or to SD12, S21, S31 and Quantum consoles via a DMI-MADI-C card (MODDMIMADIC).

Clock any AES sources from the DiGiCo system or house sync where you can. If you need 24 AES inputs, the D2-Rack digital version (D2DIC or D2DIM) has them built in.
