Overview
The DiGiCo D-Rack is a compact floor or rack mount stage box with 32 mic/line inputs and 8 line outputs, connected to the console over a single Cat5e MADI cable on an RJ45 port. This is the D-Rack 2 (X-D-RACK-2), the dual redundant PSU version.
One output expansion slot adds 8 more outputs as analogue line or AES, for 32 in and 16 out. At 96 kHz it runs 28 mic inputs. The D-Rack ships with every SD9 and is an option on all SD-Series consoles; an optional MultiMode Optocore interface (HMA, opticalCON or ST) lets it join an optical loop. Supplied rack ears allow 7U mounting, or it can stand on its own on stage.

Works with: DiGiCo SD9 (two dedicated D-Rack ports, one D-Rack supplied) and SD11 (dedicated D-Rack RJ45 port) directly; SD12, S21, S31 and Quantum 225, 326 and 338 via a DMI-MADI-C card (MODDMIMADIC).

Forefront Tip
Use proper shielded touring Cat5e or Cat6 for the MADI run and always carry a spare. If you need more than 16 outputs, pair the D-Rack 2 with a D2-Rack or move up to the 48 input DQ or MQ racks. On S21 and S31 one MODDMIMADIC card runs one D-Rack.
