Overview
The DiGiCo Quantum 338 brings the processing power of DiGiCo's flagship Quantum 7 into a console that fits a festival FOH riser, a theatre pit or a broadcast truck. Seventh-generation FPGA processing delivers 128 full-processing input channels, 64 aux or group busses and a 24 by 24 full-processing matrix at 96 kHz, with around 1 ms of latency from channel to output. When the show grows, the optional Pulse upgrade lifts the count to 156 channels and 72 busses without touching the hardware.
The worksurface is built for speed. Three 17 inch, 1000-nit multitouch screens each carry a meter bridge and soft quick-select buttons, 38 motorised touch-sensitive faders sit alongside 70 individual TFT channel displays, and Dark Mode keeps the surface comfortable in a blacked-out venue.

Under the hood
Mustard Processing channel strips, Spice Rack native FPGA processing, Nodal Processing and True Solo all come as standard, so classic analogue-flavoured compression, EQ and tube stages are on hand without external plugins. With 286 dynamic EQs, 222 DiGiTuBes, 24 stereo effects and 24 32-band graphic EQs available, even a large festival input list leaves processing in reserve. Dual redundant internal power supplies keep the console running if one fails.
I/O and connectivity
Local I/O runs through Ultimate Stadius 32-bit converters, with 8 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs and four stereo AES pairs on the rear panel. Six BNC MADI ports, a built-in 48-channel UB MADI USB recorder and two DMI slots for Dante, AVB, Hydra 2, KLANG, Waves or extra MADI connect stage racks, plugin servers and in-ear systems. Optional single or dual-loop Optocore adds up to 1,008 channels of stage I/O for larger touring rigs.
The Quantum 338 is usually paired with SD-Rack stage I/O over Optocore for touring, or DQ-Rack over Dante for installations. Forefront Productions can demo, install and support the Quantum 338 for venues, churches and production companies across Australia.
