Overview
The DiGiCo SD-Rack is the full size SD-Series stage rack: a 10U frame with 14 card slots (7 input, 7 output) for up to 56 inputs and 56 outputs. This version ships unloaded and factory fitted with the Optocore multimode interface on Neutrik opticalCON fibre connectors, so it can sit on a DiGiCo Optocore loop as well as connect over its standard dual BNC MADI ports.
It runs at 44.1 to 192 kHz, supports DiGiCo Gain Tracking so two consoles can share the preamps, and has two internal hot swappable PSUs. Up to 14 racks fit on one optical loop, or 28 on a dual loop.

Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo SD9, SD11, SD12 and Quantum 225, 326 and 338 consoles fitted with the factory Optocore option (connector type must match, opticalCON to opticalCON, or use an adapter). Over BNC MADI it also works with SD11, SD12 and Quantum consoles, and with S21 and S31 via a DMI-MADI-B card (MODDMIMADIB).
Takes the SD-Rack family I/O cards listed below. Singlemode loops need the rack's singlemode upgrade. Matching DMI Optocore cards: MODDMIOPNC (multimode) or MODDMIOPNCS (singlemode).

Forefront Tip
opticalCON DUO cable is the most robust fibre for touring, but every node on the loop must match. If the console is HMA or ST, plan for adapter tails or order the console and DMI Optocore cards in opticalCON (MODDMIOPNC) so the whole loop runs one connector type. The rack ships unloaded, so order MODSDRADC32B and MODSDRDAC32B cards with it.
