Overview
The D-Rack Isolator Kit is the isolating transformer for the D-Rack's RJ45 CAT5 MADI input. DiGiCo fits an isolating transformer on this input as standard to break ground paths between the stage rack and the console, which keeps hum and buzz out of the system when stage and FOH are on different power.
This kit is for replacing a lost or damaged isolator, or for retrofitting an older rack.

Compatibility

Forefront Tip
If you hear hum that changes when you unplug the CAT5, check the isolator is in place before chasing anything else. Use shielded CAT5e or CAT6 as supplied with the rack.
