Overview
The RCF SUB 18-AX is an 18 inch active subwoofer with its own system processor. Factory crossover presets cover RCF's ART, NX, NXL, HD and EVOX speakers: connect the tops, choose the preset and the crossover and phase alignment are set for you. A 2.4 inch colour touch screen and the RCF LiveRemote app over Bluetooth give access to EQ, delay and eight recallable snapshots.
The 18 inch woofer on a 4 inch voice coil is driven by a 2200 W peak Class-D amplifier, reaching 135 dB with response down to 35 Hz. Bass Motion Control manages woofer excursion in place of a fixed high pass filter. The multi-ply cabinet has a polyurea coating, a steel grille, rubber grip handles and an M20 pole socket on top, so it suits bands, DJs, venues and hire stock that get moved every week.

Forefront Tip
For a stereo rig, run one SUB 18-AX per side and link each sub's crossover output to the top on its pole. RCF's PM-KIT M20 pole screws straight into the top of the sub. The CVR 003 cover and WH PRO 4X wheel kit are worth adding if the subs travel.
