Overview
The D2-Rack AES output card fills one of the D2-Rack's two output option slots with 4 stereo AES outputs on XLR, 8 channels in total, with sample rate conversion. It adds digital outputs on top of the rack's 16 built in analogue outputs.
Use it to feed amplifiers, speaker processors or a broadcast split digitally from the stage.

Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo D2-Rack in all versions (D2ANC, D2ANM, D2DIC, D2DIM). The D2-Rack has two 8 channel output option slots; each takes this card or the line output card (MODD2RDAC), taking the rack from 16 to as many as 32 outputs.
The D2-Rack connects over MADI (BNC or CAT5e, depending on version) to SD9, SD11, SD12, S21, S31 and Quantum 225, 326 and 338, using a DMI-MADI-B (BNC) or DMI-MADI-C (CAT5) card where the console has no matching port.

Forefront Tip
With two slots you can fit one AES and one line output card for 24 analogue and 8 AES outputs. Cover any unused slot with a D2-Rack blank plate (D2RBLANKPLATE).
