Overview
The Atlantis is Lauten's flagship solid state mic, and its party trick is that it sounds like three different microphones. A switch on the back picks Forward, Neutral or Gentle voicing, so you can match the mic to the singer instead of fighting them with EQ later.
Forward is open and bright for quiet voices and acoustic instruments, Neutral is an honest all-rounder, and Gentle is warm and smooth for bright or harsh singers. Add three polar patterns and a gain switch for loud sources and you have one mic that handles almost anything a busy studio throws at it.

Forefront Tip
Set the voicing before you reach for EQ. Most singers sit nicely on Neutral, harsh or sibilant voices calm right down on Gentle, and Forward helps a quiet acoustic guitar or a mellow voice cut through a busy mix.
