Overview
Lauten's Snare Mic is built for one job and does it brilliantly: it gives you the crack and body of the snare with far less hi-hat and cymbal spill than a typical snare mic. The result is a cleaner, punchier snare that's easier to mix, live or in the studio.
Low cut and high cut switches let you dial in more body or more snap right at the mic, and the compact body slips into a tight kit without getting in the drummer's way. It works on snare top, side or bottom and comes with a swivel mount and padded bag.

Forefront Tip
Aim the capsule at the centre of the head with the back of the mic pointing at the hi-hat, about 5 cm above the rim. Pair it with the Lauten Rim Mount to free up a stand on a crowded church stage.
