Overview
The Eden is the top of the Lauten range: a hand-finished valve microphone for the lead vocal, the solo cello or the feature acoustic guitar, where the mic really is the star of the recording. It has that rich, three dimensional tube sound that makes a voice feel close and expensive.
Three voicings (Forward, Neutral and Gentle) and a three position high-pass let you shape both the tone and the amount of tube colour, and three polar patterns cover solo, duet and room work. It comes complete with its own power supply, cable, suspension mount and flight case.

Forefront Tip
Give the tube 15 to 20 minutes to warm up before the session and it will reward you. Try the high-pass on Mid for a close vocal: it trims proximity boom and adds a touch of tube colour at the same time.
