Overview
The LSC NEXEN D4 is a four port Ethernet to DMX/RDM gateway in a 5 module DIN rail housing. It converts Art-Net, sACN and ArtRDM to DMX and back, and any of its four ports can be set as an input or an output. Each port is fully isolated from the network and from the other ports, so a fault on one DMX line stays on that line.
It runs from PoE or a 9 to 24 V DC supply and clips onto a standard TS-35 rail, which makes it a tidy fit for permanent installs in theatres, schools, churches and venues where the lighting network lives in a switchboard or control cabinet. Choose RJ45 connectors (NXND/4J) or push-fit terminals (NXND/4T) for the DMX ports.

Forefront Tip
Mount the D4 in the dimmer room or control cabinet beside your relays and power distribution, and run the DMX legs out on data cable to each bar. The terminal version saves crimping RJ45 plugs on site, and powering it from the PoE switch means one less plug pack in the cabinet.
