Overview
The LSC NEXEN i2 is a two port Ethernet to DMX/RDM gateway built for outdoor and wet locations. Both DMX ports are on IP65 rated female XLR5 connectors and the network comes in on an IP65 ethercon, all in a rugged powder coated aluminium box. It converts Art-Net, sACN and ArtRDM, and each port is fully isolated.
It runs from PoE, so one network cable carries both data and power out to the truss. It suits outdoor stages, festivals, theme parks, building facades and hire stock that has to cope with the weather. Bluetooth BLE is built in, and setup and monitoring run through LSC's HOUSTON X software.

Forefront Tip
On outdoor stages, put the i2 up on the truss next to the IP rated fixtures and run a single shielded Cat cable back to the PoE switch. You keep long DMX runs off the ground, and with IP65 on the box and both connectors you don't need to bag it when the weather turns.
