A complete two channel Sennheiser EW-DX handheld system in one box. One dual channel EM 2 receiver and two SKM handheld transmitters fitted with MMD 945 capsules, all on the same frequency band so it works together straight out of the box.
What makes EW-DX different
- Names that stay put: the E-Ink screen on each handheld keeps the channel name and settings showing even with the battery out, so no more labels or writing on electrical tape.
- Full network control: the receivers connect to your network, so you can monitor and adjust every mic from a laptop with Sennheiser Control Cockpit or Wireless Systems Manager, or link them into third party control systems.
- Charge in the mic: charging contacts on the handheld let it drop straight into a CHG 70N charger with the BA 70 still inside.
- Private and scalable: AES 256 encryption keeps sermons and private meetings private, and the system can grow to hundreds of channels as you add more mics.
Who it's for
Worship leaders, singers, presenters and MCs who want two reliable handheld mics without building a system from parts. A great fit for a small church, school hall, function room or a duo on stage. EW-DX is digital, so it stays clean and clear even in a busy RF room.
What's in the kit
- 1x EW-DX EM 2 dual channel receiver
- 2x EW-DX SKM handheld transmitters
- 2x MMD 945 vocal capsules
Batteries are not included. Add BA 70 rechargeable packs, or pair the kit with our EW-DX Charging Kit (the 2 bay size is a perfect match for this kit) so the mics charge with the batteries still inside.
Choosing a frequency band
The receiver and both handhelds are on the same band. R1-9 covers 520 to 608 MHz and S1-10 covers 606.2 to 693.8 MHz. Both are legal to use in Australia. Which one is best depends on the TV channels in your area, so tell us your postcode and we'll recommend the clearest band.
Need more channels?
Our EW-DX Handheld Wireless Mic Kits come in 4, 6 and 8 channel sizes with antenna distribution included, so you can step up when your team grows.
Forefront Tip
The MMD 945 has a tight pickup pattern that rejects stage noise and foldback, so it's the pick for vocalists. If the mics are mostly for speech, ask us about swapping to the MMD 935 for a more natural, forgiving sound. Keep the receiver antennas clear of metal and in line of sight to the stage.
