Overview
The DM0 is the dLive mix engine with no local analogue I/O: a 4U S Class MixRack carrying the XCVI core, 128 input channels and 64 mixes at 96 kHz, three 128 channel I/O ports and dual redundant power supplies. All your inputs and outputs come from option cards, DX expanders, GX4816 racks or Dante devices, so it suits networked installs and touring rigs that already have stage boxes.
As an S Class rack it supports dual redundant gigaACE to an S Class surface, redundant DX links, up to 4 surfaces in Multi Surface mode and the ME personal mixing port.
Highlights
- Full dLive engine: 128 inputs, 64 mixes, 96 kHz
- No local analogue I/O, all I/O via cards and expanders
- 3 x 128 channel I/O ports
- Dual redundant PSUs fitted
- Dual redundant gigaACE and DX links
- 16 RackExtra FX with stereo returns; RackUltra FX card upgrade available
- 4U, 19 inch rack
Compatibility
Works with all dLive surfaces: C1500, C2500, C3500 and S3000, S5000, S7000, plus IP controllers and dLive Director for surfaceless mixing. A DM MixRack runs up to 4 surfaces in Multi Surface mode, and S Class surfaces can use dual redundant gigaACE links.
- 3 I/O ports: M-DL-DANT64-AX, M-DL-DANT128-AX, M-DL-WAVES3-A, M-DL-SMADI-A, M-DL-GOPT, M-DL-GACE-A, M-DL-DXLINK, M-DL-AES cards, or M-DL-ADAPT-A for M-DANTE / M-MADI2-A
- Dual redundant DX ports: DX32, DX168, DX164-W, DX012, DX88-P
- ME port: ME-1, ME-500, ME-U personal mixing (40 channels)
- Network: IP1, IP6, IP8, GPIO, CC-7, CC-10

Forefront Tip
A DM0 with an M-DL-DANT128-AX and DT168 stage boxes makes a tidy Dante based system. Add an M-DL-DXLINK if you want more DX expanders than the four onboard DX ports allow, and remember every input has to come from somewhere, so plan the I/O before the engine.
