Overview
The Quest QXD-1KD is the Dante and AES67 version of Quest's 1RU four channel DSP amplifier. It gives you 4 x 250 W peak into 8 or 4 ohm, or bridges to 2 x 500 W for 8 ohm, 4 ohm, 70V or 100V lines, so one compact chassis can run a pair of point source speakers and a ceiling speaker zone.
Onboard 32-bit/96 kHz DSP covers filtering, limiting, delay and the Quest speaker library, so Qi and MX speakers can be tuned and protected without a separate processor. The four Dante inputs make it a good fit for boardrooms, training rooms, churches, school halls and hospitality fit-outs that already run audio over the network or use Q-SYS or Crestron control.

Forefront Tip
Remember the 70V and 100V ratings on this model are in bridged mode, so plan a 100V zone as one bridged pair of channels. Tap the ceiling speakers to leave some headroom below the 500 W bridged rating, and load the Quest preset for each speaker type before you bring the system up. If you do not need Dante, the QXD-1K is the same amplifier without network audio.
