Overview
The Quest QXD-5K is a 2RU four channel Class-D amplifier for installs where the speakers are doing real work. It delivers 4 x 750 W into 4 ohm or 4 x 400 W into 8 ohm, and bridges to 2 x 2500 W at 4 ohm or 2 x 1500 W on 100V lines, with Neutrik speakON outputs and powerCON mains.
Onboard 32-bit/96 kHz DSP handles filtering, limiting, delay and the Quest speaker library, so crossover and protection for Qi mains and subs are set up inside the amp. It suits larger churches and auditoriums, school performing arts centres, sports halls and live music venues. For network audio, choose the QXD-5KD.

Forefront Tip
A common layout for a mid-sized auditorium is two channels on the left and right mains and the other two on the subs, with the Quest presets handling the crossover. Check the power circuit before install day, a 2RU amp at this level wants its own dedicated circuit rather than sharing with the lighting.
