Overview
The Quest QX4750 is a 2RU four channel Class-D installation amplifier with 750 W per channel into 4 ohm or 400 W per channel into 8 ohm. Bridged, it delivers 1500 W per pair into 8 ohm or straight onto 70V and 100V lines, so it can run a pair of Qi Series mains and a sub, or long 100V runs across a school or sports complex.
There is no DSP to learn. Volume, an 80 Hz high pass, a 100 Hz low pass, bridge mono, limiter and auto standby all sit on the front panel for each channel, so any tech can set it up and see how it is configured at a glance. It suits churches and auditoriums, school halls, performing arts centres, gyms and venues that want a dependable amp with plenty of headroom.

Forefront Tip
When one QX4750 runs both tops and subs, put the subs on their own channel with the 100 Hz low pass switched in and switch the 80 Hz high pass in on the tops. It cleans up the low mids straight away and gives the top boxes more headroom. Label the front panel switch settings on the rack door so the next person knows what each channel is doing.
