Overview
The Quest QX41500 is the most powerful amp in the QX range, a 2RU four channel Class-D amplifier with 1500 W per channel into 8 ohm or straight onto 70V and 100V lines, and 1400 W per channel at 4 ohm. That is 6000 W in one chassis, enough to carry large point source systems or long 100V runs across a campus.
Each channel has its own volume, 80 Hz high pass, 100 Hz low pass, bridge mono, limiter and auto standby on the front panel, so tops and subs can run from the one unit with no software. It suits large churches, school halls, gyms, multi zone commercial sites and anywhere one amp has to do a lot of work. For smaller zones, the QX4300 offers the same layout in 1RU.

Forefront Tip
An amp this size needs a mains circuit to match. Put the QX41500 on its own dedicated circuit rather than sharing with lighting or kitchen gear, and leave a blank panel above it in the rack for airflow. Engage the limiters on every channel during commissioning, then set levels from the desk so the system cannot be pushed past what the speakers can take.
