Overview
The Quest QX4300 is a 1RU four channel Class-D installation amplifier with 550 W peak per channel, and 280 W RMS at 8 ohm down to 240 W RMS on 100V lines. Load sensing output stages suit low impedance speakers or 70V and 100V lines, so one amp can run a pair of surface speakers in a meeting room and a 100V string of ceiling speakers in the corridor.
Every channel has volume, an 80 Hz high pass, a 100 Hz low pass, bridge mono, a limiter and auto standby with a 1 ms wake up, all on the front panel. That makes it easy to run a sub on one channel and tops on the others with no software. It is the workhorse for multi zone commercial and education sites, churches with a few rooms and larger homes.

Forefront Tip
Use the auto standby on sites where nobody remembers to switch the amps off. The amp drops to low power overnight and wakes in 1 ms when audio arrives, so the first announcement of the day is not lost. Label each channel's zone on the front panel so staff can turn the right room down.
