Overview
The Quest QXD-2KD is the Dante and AES67 version of the QXD-2K, a 1RU four channel Class-D amplifier rated at 4 x 500 W peak per channel into 8 ohm, 4 ohm, 70V or 100V. Every channel handles low impedance or distributed line duty, so main room speakers and 100V ceiling zones can share one amp.
Four Dante inputs sit alongside the four analogue inputs, so it drops straight into a venue with a Dante console, DSP or Q-SYS core. Onboard 32-bit/96 kHz DSP covers filtering, limiting, delay and the Quest speaker library. It suits mid-sized churches, school halls, function rooms and multi-zone venues.

Forefront Tip
Even when the system runs on Dante, patch the four analogue inputs from the console or DSP as well. It costs a few cables and gives you a backup path if the network has a problem mid-service. If the site is analogue only, the QXD-2K is the same amplifier without network audio.
