Overview
Add real low end to a Quest Foyer Speaker Package. This add-on pack brings Quest MX Series compact subwoofers, the mounting plates they need and the speaker cable to wire them, sized to match the foyer package you choose. Background music in a foyer, reception, cafe or retail space sounds thin on small ceiling or wall speakers alone; a compact sub fills in the bass so music sounds full at a comfortable level, without turning the main speakers up.
Every Quest Foyer Speaker Package keeps amplifier channels 3 and 4 free in low impedance mode for subs, so this add-on suits either amplifier option, the QX4300 or the DSP amp. Choose the same foyer size and colour as your speaker package.
What is included in each option
The colour option sets the colour of the subs and plates; the cable is the same for white and black.
- Up to 50 m², 1x MX6S sub: 1x MX6S 6 inch subwoofer, 1x MP6S mounting plate, 15 m Eurocable 2 x 1.5 mm² speaker cable
- 50 to 100 m², 2x MX6S subs: 2x MX6S 6 inch subwoofers, 2x MP6S mounting plates, 30 m Eurocable 2 x 1.5 mm² speaker cable
- 100 to 200 m², 2x MX10S subs: 2x MX10S 10 inch subwoofers, 2x MP10S mounting plates, 30 m Eurocable 2 x 1.5 mm² speaker cable
- 200 to 350 m², 4x MX10S subs: 4x MX10S 10 inch subwoofers, 4x MP10S mounting plates, 60 m Eurocable 2 x 1.5 mm² speaker cable
No amplifier is included; the subs run on channels 3 and 4 of the amplifier supplied with the foyer speaker package.

Sizes assume a 3.0 m ceiling, matching the foyer speaker packages. Subs, plates and cable come in white or black to match the speakers. The amplifier is not included; it comes with the speaker package.

Forefront Tip
On the QX4300, switch on the 100 Hz low pass filter on channels 3 and 4 for the subs and the 80 Hz high pass filter on the speaker channels, so the small speakers stop working hard on bass. On a QXD amp we set the crossover in DSP. Place subs near walls or corners of the foyer for the most bass from each box. The cable is a standard 2 x 1.5 mm² twin; if your building needs LSZH or fire rated cable in the ceiling, tell us when you order or ask for a quote and we will swap it.
