Overview
The Sennheiser e 904 is a compact dynamic cardioid microphone built for snares, toms and percussion. It gives a full, transparent drum sound with a fast attack, so close miked toms cut through without needing heavy EQ, and its consistent frequency response gives you room to shape the sound at the desk.
The short body and integrated MZH 604 rim clip let it sit tight on the drum without fighting the cymbals or the drummer's sticks, and the reinforced metal housing copes with the odd direct hit. It suits bands, churches, schools, live venues and hire companies that need a dependable tom and snare mic that sets up quickly and survives touring.
Includes the e 904 microphone, MZH 604 drum clip, carry pouch, quick guide and safety guide.

Forefront Tip
Clip it to the rim at about 2 to 5 cm above the head, angled toward the centre and away from the hi hat, so the cardioid rear rejects the cymbals. For a full kit, pair a set of e 904s with an e 902 on kick and an e 914 or e 614 for overheads.
