Overview
The ME-U is the hub for an ME personal monitoring system. It has 10 locking EtherCon ports, each delivering audio and 15W of PoE to an ME-1 or ME-500, so every performer gets a home run and nobody needs a plug pack on stage. It is 2U with integrated rack ears, or freestanding on a desk.
The fitted ME-D card takes the 40 channel ME feed from Allen & Heath mixers (dSNAKE or SLink in dSNAKE/ME mode, dLive ME port, AR2412 or AB168 ports, iLive ACE) or from Aviom A-Net 16. The front option slot takes an M-DANTE or M-MADI card for up to 40 sources from third party consoles, and DiGiCo's DMI-ME card feeds it from DiGiCo desks. Setup is through a browser, and hubs can be linked for bigger systems.

Forefront Tip
The ME system is 48kHz only and does not take 96kHz DX feeds. On a 96kHz SQ or Avantis, feed the ME-U from the SLink in ME mode or from a GX4816 DX2 port. On a DiGiCo Quantum or SD desk, fit a DMI-ME card.
