Overview
AVANTIS-U is the Avantis Ultra configuration: a full size 24 fader Avantis with dual 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreens, shipped with dPack enabled and the RackUltra FX module factory fitted. That takes the console from 64 inputs and 42 busses to 96 input channels and 56 configurable busses, with 24 Dyn8 dynamic EQ and multiband compression engines and the DEEP processing library including NEQ12 on the mix outputs.
The RackUltra FX module adds eight premium FX engines covering vocal processing, reverb and delay, distortion and saturation and harmonisers. They run as sends or inserts with their own stereo returns and do not use your busses, channels or the 12 RackExtra FX slots. Everything else is standard Avantis: 12 XLR in and out, AES, 0.7ms latency at 96kHz, two 128x128 I/O Ports for dLive format cards and an SLink port for DX, GX and ME expansion. This is the version to buy if you know you will use the bigger channel count or the premium FX, as there is no fitting job later.

Compatibility
Works with the full dLive and Avantis option card range in its two I/O Ports, SLink and Dante expanders, ME personal mixing and IP and Custom Control remotes. dPack and RackUltra FX are already included, so M-AV-ULTRAFX and AVANTIS-DPACK are not needed. Accessories: AVANTIS-DUSTCOVER, AVANT-BRKT/X, AVANTIS-OV-CASE, AVANTIS-CASE.

Forefront Tip
With 96 inputs available you will usually need more than one source: a GX4816 on SLink plus a Dante card in an I/O Port for DT168 boxes or playback is a common Avantis Ultra rig. Keep the Dante network at 96kHz so the console does not need SRC.
