Overview
AVANTIS-S is the Avantis Solo: the same 96kHz Avantis engine and workflow as the full size console in a 12 fader frame with one 15.6 inch Full HD capacitive touchscreen. It runs 64 input channels and 42 configurable busses on a 96 bit mix bus, 12 stereo RackExtra FX engines with dedicated returns, 16 DCAs and 18 assignable SoftKeys, with 0.7ms latency.
Local I/O is 6 XLR inputs, 6 XLR outputs and stereo AES in and out, plus USB stereo recording and BNC word clock. Critically, the Solo keeps both 128x128 I/O Ports and the SLink port of the bigger console, so it takes the full dLive and Avantis card range and the same DX, GX and ME expanders. Show files move between Solo and Avantis, which makes it a strong pick for a second console, a monitor desk, or a venue that wants Avantis processing in a smaller footprint. dPack and the Solo RackUltra FX module are available as upgrades.

Compatibility
Works with the dLive and Avantis option card range in both I/O Ports, SLink expanders (DX168, DX164-W, DX012, DX32, DX-HUB, GX4816) and Dante expanders DT168 and DT164-W via a Dante card. Upgrades: AVANTIS-DPACK and M-AVS-ULTRAFX (the Solo specific RackUltra FX kit, needs dPack). Accessories: AVANTIS-S-DUSTCOVER, SOLO-OV-CASE, AVANT-BRKT/X.

Forefront Tip
With only six local inputs, plan the Solo around a stage box from day one. A DX168 or GX4816 on SLink is the usual pairing, and a Dante card in an I/O Port covers recording and a DT168 for extra inputs.
