Overview
The DMI-DAC adds 16 balanced analogue line outputs to a DiGiCo console over two 25-way D-sub connectors. Use it for local feeds at front of house such as recorders, broadcast splits, delay and fill amplifiers or a press feed, without tying up stage rack outputs.
Highlights
- 16 analogue line outputs
- 2 x 25-way D-sub connectors
- +22 dBu at digital full scale
- Line level only
- Input counterpart is the DMI-ADC
Compatibility
Works with: Quantum 338, Quantum 326, Quantum 225 (including 225DS), S21, S31, SD12 and Orange Box, plus the DiGiCo 4REA4. Each has two DMI slots of up to 64 x 64 I/O. SD9 and SD11 have no DMI slots.

Forefront Tip
Because 0 dBFS lands at +22 dBu, check the input headroom of whatever you feed and pad down if needed. A DMI-ADC in the other slot gives you a 16 x 16 analogue patch at the desk.
