Overview
The SD 32-bit DAC is DiGiCo's Stadius output card for the SD rack range. It uses newer 32-bit D to A converters with a fully differential analogue output stage and dedicated linear power supplies, giving a lower noise floor and lower latency than the standard output card.
Improved metal XLRs have continuous ground contact around the shell.
Highlights
- 8 channels of 32-bit Stadius D to A
- 0.89 ms latency at 96 kHz (rack I/O, analogue to analogue)
- +24 dBu max output, 122 dBA dynamic range
- Fully differential output stage with linear PSUs
- Metal XLR connectors
Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo SD-Rack (14 slots, 10RU), SD-MiNi Rack (4 slots, 4RU) and SD-Nano Rack (2 slots, 2RU), in both MADI and Optocore (HMA, opticalCON, ST) frames. The rack then connects to SD12, S21, S31, Quantum 225, Quantum 326 and Quantum 338 consoles over MADI (console BNC ports or a DMI-MADI-B card) or over an Optocore loop.
In an SD-Rack this card must go in one of the seven output slots. In an SD-MiNi or SD-Nano it can go in any slot.
Make sure the rack and console are on current DiGiCo firmware before fitting 32-bit cards.

Forefront Tip
Use these on the outputs that matter most, such as mains, subs and IEM mixes, and the standard DAC card for the rest. Pair with the 32-bit Mic Pre (MODSDRADC32B) for the full Stadius path.
