Overview
The DiGiCo SD-Nano Rack is the smallest SD-Series stage rack: a 2U box with two SD card slots for up to 16 inputs and 16 outputs with digital cards, or 16 analogue ins, 16 outs or 8 in and 8 out. It is an optical only rack with no MADI ports, and this version ships unloaded with the Optocore multimode interface on HMA fibre connectors.
Because it uses the same Stealth FPGA platform and card format as the SD-Rack, it slots into an existing Optocore loop alongside bigger racks, with up to 14 racks per loop or 28 on a dual loop. It runs from 44.1 to 192 kHz, supports Gain Tracking and has two internal redundant PSUs.

Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo SD9, SD11, SD12 and Quantum 225, 326 and 338 consoles fitted with factory Optocore, on a loop using HMA connectors (or adapters). It has no MADI port, so it cannot connect to an S21 or S31 directly.
Takes the SD-Rack family I/O cards listed below. Matching DMI Optocore cards: MODDMIOPTO (multimode) or MODDMIOPTOS (singlemode, needs the singlemode upgrade on the rack).

Forefront Tip
HMA matches most DiGiCo rental stock, so a Nano on HMA can drop into hired loops without adapters. Load one MODSDRADC32B and one MODSDRDAC32B for a compact 8x8 sidestage box, or two DAC cards for an amp rack feed.
