Overview
The DiGiCo SD-MiNi Rack is a 4U stage rack with four SD card slots for up to 32 inputs and 32 outputs with digital cards, or 32 analogue ins or outs in banks of eight. This version ships unloaded with the Optocore multimode interface on Neutrik opticalCON fibre connectors, so it can join a DiGiCo Optocore loop, and it keeps the standard redundant BNC MADI and split MADI ports.
Up to 14 racks can sit on one optical loop, or 28 on a dual loop, and any console on the loop can access the rack's inputs and output slots. It runs from 44.1 to 192 kHz, supports Gain Tracking for shared preamps and has twin internal PSUs.

Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo SD9, SD11, SD12 and Quantum 225, 326 and 338 fitted with factory Optocore (matching opticalCON connectors, or adapters). Over BNC MADI it also works with SD11, SD12 and Quantum consoles, and with S21 and S31 via a DMI-MADI-B card (MODDMIMADIB).

Forefront Tip
opticalCON is the tough choice for touring fibre, but the whole loop must match. If your console is HMA, either order the DMI Optocore card in opticalCON (MODDMIOPNC) or budget for adapter tails. A MiNi on fibre makes a good sidestage or drum riser box with 2 x MODSDRADC32B and 2 x MODSDRDAC32B.
