Overview
The SD 32-Bit Mic Pre-Amp is DiGiCo's Stadius preamp card for the SD rack range. It uses 32-bit A to D converters with dedicated ultra low noise linear analogue power supplies, including the +48 V phantom feed, for a lower noise floor and more headroom than the standard input card.
Roadworthy metal XLRs make it suited to touring racks that get patched every day.
Highlights
- 8 channels of 32-bit Stadius mic preamp
- 123 dBA dynamic range, 128 dB EIN
- Dedicated linear analogue PSUs including +48 V phantom
- Metal XLR connectors
- Hot pluggable
Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo SD-Rack (14 slots, 10RU), SD-MiNi Rack (4 slots, 4RU) and SD-Nano Rack (2 slots, 2RU), in both MADI and Optocore (HMA, opticalCON, ST) frames. The rack then connects to SD12, S21, S31, Quantum 225, Quantum 326 and Quantum 338 consoles over MADI (console BNC ports or a DMI-MADI-B card) or over an Optocore loop.
In an SD-Rack this card goes in one of the seven input slots (input and I/O cards share the input side). In an SD-MiNi or SD-Nano it can go in any slot.
Make sure the rack and console are on current DiGiCo firmware before fitting 32-bit cards.
