Overview
The SD-Rack Blank Panel covers an empty card slot in a DiGiCo SD-Rack. DiGiCo lists a blanking plate for empty slots on the SD-Rack data sheet, and any rack that is not fully loaded should have every open slot covered.
Blanks keep dust and debris out of the backplane and keep cooling air moving across the fitted cards the way the rack was designed.
Highlights
- Covers one unused SD-Rack card slot
- Keeps dust and debris off the backplane
- Maintains designed airflow through the rack
- Quick to swap out when you add a card later
Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo SD-Rack in MADI and Optocore (HMA, opticalCON, ST) frames, input or output slots. Fit to any slot not holding an I/O card.

Forefront Tip
Count your blanks when you spec a part loaded SD-Rack: a 14 slot frame with 6 input and 4 output cards needs 4 blanks. Keep a couple spare in the rack case for when cards are pulled for another job.
