Overview
The DiGiCo Dante I/O card puts 8 inputs and 8 outputs of Dante on an SD Series stage rack. It is a tidy way to pick up a few Dante sources at the stage end, such as wireless receivers or playback, or to send a handful of feeds to Dante amps and processors without running a separate network back to FOH.
Built in sample rate conversion to 48 or 96 kHz is automatic.
Highlights
- 8 Dante inputs and 8 Dante outputs
- Two RJ45 ports, switched or redundant mode
- BNC sync output
- Automatic SRC to 48 kHz or 96 kHz
- Hot pluggable
Compatibility
Works with: DiGiCo SD-Rack (14 slots, 10RU), SD-MiNi Rack (4 slots, 4RU) and SD-Nano Rack (2 slots, 2RU), in both MADI and Optocore (HMA, opticalCON, ST) frames. The rack then connects to SD12, S21, S31, Quantum 225, Quantum 326 and Quantum 338 consoles over MADI (console BNC ports or a DMI-MADI-B card) or over an Optocore loop.
In an SD-Rack this card goes in one of the seven input slots (input and I/O cards share the input side). In an SD-MiNi or SD-Nano it can go in any slot.

Forefront Tip
Set redundant or switched mode in Dante Controller before the show. For more than 8 channels of Dante, a DMI-DANTE card at the console (MODDMIDANTE2) is usually the better fit.
