Overview
The Quest QXD-1K is the 1RU entry point to the QXD range of DSP network amplifiers. It gives four channels of 250 W peak (150 W RMS), bridgeable to two channels of 500 W including straight onto 70V and 100V lines.
What sets it apart from the QX amps is the onboard 32 bit, 96 kHz DSP with FIR and IIR filtering, limiters, delay and the Quest loudspeaker library, so tuning an MX or Qi speaker is a matter of loading the preset. A front display and rotary encoder handle setup on site, and the RJ45 network port and GPIO allow remote control and monitoring. It suits churches, school halls, meeting room clusters and venues running a few zones with a sub, where you want processing in the amp rather than a separate DSP.

Forefront Tip
Load the Quest preset for each speaker first, then do your room EQ on top of it rather than starting from flat. Set the limiters to protect the speakers during commissioning, and keep a copy of the settings so the system can be restored if someone changes it.
