Overview
The M-DL-GACE-A is a gigaACE network card that carries 128 bidirectional channels at 96 kHz over Cat5e. Its main jobs are digital splits between two dLive or Avantis systems, such as FOH and monitors, and connecting a GX4816 expander.
Control data is tunnelled over the same link with a switchable network bridge, so one laptop can reach either system. Transport latency is just five samples and setup is plug and play.

Compatibility
Works with: dLive MixRacks (CDM32, CDM48, CDM64 with 1 I/O port; DM0, DM32, DM48, DM64 with 3 I/O ports), dLive surfaces (C1500, C2500, C3500 with 1 port; S3000, S5000, S7000 with 2 ports) and Avantis, Avantis Solo and the U versions (2 I/O ports). 128 x 128 at 96kHz, dual redundant.
- GX4816 expander: one card per GX4816 (this is the only way to use a GX4816 on dLive)
- DX Hub: dLive needs firmware V1.6 or later
- Another dLive or Avantis fitted with a gigaACE card, for monitor splits or console linking
- The SLink port of an SQ, SQ+, Qu-5, Qu-6, Qu-7 or AHM (Qu needs Cat6a STP, up to 80 m)

Forefront Tip
For a FOH and monitor split you need one card at each end. If the run is over 100 metres or between buildings, use M-DL-GOPT fibreACE instead, which works in copper mode too.
