Overview
SQ-Rack is the SQ mix engine in a shallow 4U 19 inch rack chassis with no fader surface. It runs the same 96kHz XCVI FPGA core as the SQ consoles with under 0.7ms latency: 48 input channels, 12 stereo mixes plus LR, 3 stereo matrices (splittable to 6 mono) and 8 stereo FX engines with dedicated returns, and it is DEEP processing ready.
Front panel control is a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with 8 assignable SoftKeys and 4 soft rotaries for quick changes, with full mixing from SQ-MixPad on iOS, Android, Windows and macOS, SQ-Control and the SQ4You personal mixing app. Local I/O is 16+1 mic preamps, 3 stereo line inputs, 12 XLR line outputs, 2 TRS outputs and an AES output. Expansion is the same as an SQ console: a 64x64 I/O Port for Dante, MADI, Waves or SLink cards, an SLink port for Everything I/O expanders and ME personal mixers, and a 32x32 96kHz USB interface plus SQ-Drive recording to USB storage. It suits installs, band racks and IEM rigs where the mixer lives in a rack and is run from a tablet.

Compatibility
Takes all SQ I/O Port cards: M-SQ-DANT32, M-SQ-DANT64, M-SQ-MADI, M-SQ-SLINK-A and M-SQ-WAVES3-A (one card). SLink expanders for up to 48 extra mic inputs: DX168, DX164-W, DX32, DX-HUB, GX4816 and legacy AB1608, AR2412 and AR0804, plus DX012 for outputs. ME-1 and ME-500 personal mixers daisy chain from SLink. DT168 and DT164-W connect via an SQ Dante card. Show files are shared with SQ-5, SQ-6, SQ-7 and SQ+ consoles.

Forefront Tip
Fit a small wireless access point in the same rack and lock it to SQ-MixPad and SQ4You devices only. For a band or IEM rack, add a DX168 on SLink and ME-1 mixers so each musician runs their own mix.
