Overview
The DX32 is a 4U modular expander frame with four slots for 8 channel input or output modules, giving up to 32 channels of I/O on one DX link. Mix analogue mic/line, PRIME, and AES modules to build exactly the stage rack you need, and reconfigure it later as the job changes.
It runs over a single Cat5e cable up to 100 m with a second locking EtherCon for redundant connection to compatible hardware. The frame ships with one hot swappable PSU and has a bay for a second redundant PSU. Unlike the smaller DX expanders, the DX32 does not cascade: it uses the whole 32 x 32 of its DX port.

Compatibility
Works with any Allen & Heath DX port, direct or through a DX Hub, DX Link card or GX4816: One DX32 uses a full DX port (no cascade). SQ needs firmware V1.4 or later for DX32. Compatible modules: M-DX-8ANALOGUE-AIN-A, M-DX-8ANALOGUE-AOUT-A, M-DX-AES-DIN-A, M-DX-AES-DOUT-A, M-DX32-INPR-A (PRIME in) and M-DX32-OUTPR-A (PRIME out). Not compatible with dSNAKE ports or CQ.

Forefront Tip
The frame ships with one PSU. For touring or any critical show, add the second PSU so a failure is a non-event. A typical 24 in, 8 out stage rack is three AIN modules plus one AOUT module.
